Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City---The center's latest corporate book GRIT--Chronicling the Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA) Project Farmer-Beneficiaries of Kiabo, Malitbog, Bukidnon is officially launched!
The book launching ceremony successfully transpired on Tuesday December 15 following the center’s Year End Assessment & Management Review. Joining our Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez during the book launching is CEO Reynaldo Gil “Datu Makadingding” Lomarda of Greenminds Incorporated. Greenminds Incorporated, as Learning Site partner of the center, was instrumental in the implementation of the CRA Project to reach out to remote agricultural communities to equip with farming knowledge and appropriate technologies and enhance the farmer-beneficiaries’ capabilities to withstand climate change-related issues.
The CRA Project Team in Region 10 is led by Assistant Center Director Noemi Beth G. Macario, Mary Lie P. Monteroyo, Maria Eloisa A. Akut, Honeylou C. Bastasa, Cassandra Camille L. Rosos, and Julianne A. Suarez.
The publication of the book is the center's continuing effort to document and chronicle how its farmer-beneficiaries became self-sufficient and resilient to rise to the challenge of farming brought about by climate change.
Also present were the writers and success story contributors: Noemi Beth G. Macario, Efren C. Macario, Maria Eloisa A. Akut, Honeylou C. Bastasa, Mary Lie P. Monteroyo, Mark Cyben Cepe Epe, Shirley J. Delos Reyes, Jeric L. Cabatac, and book editor Vic Thor A. Palarca. Rounding up the 13 featured success stories are the contributions of Keemple Mark Darap and the dearly departed Angelica B. Villarta.
