ATI-RTC X Compound, EL SALVADOR CITY---- The month long back-to-back celebration of the National Rice Awareness Month (NRAM) 2021 with the theme “Be Responsibly Healthy” , and the 7th Organic Agriculture (OA) Month 2021 with the theme “Organikong Pagsasaka, Sagot sa Pandemya kicked-off with Sabayan Tanghalian on November 8, 2021 at ATI-RTC X.

A sumptuous lunch was shared by ATI-RTC X staff showcasing a complete healthy menu, highlighted by the different kinds of rice served, to wit: blue Rice (Rice with Blueternate), white Rice , yellow Rice (Rice with Turmeric), and brown Rice.

“We hope that through this activities the efforts of our rice and organic farmers will be recognized, and our banner programs will be promoted,” said Agriculturist II Javier P. Andalan, the Focal Person of OA in ATI-RTC X in his Opening Message.

Also, staff recited “Panatang Makapalay” which was led by OIC-Assistant Center Director Noemi Beth G. Macario . The lunch was followed by a modified Trivia quiz participated by selected ATI staff. Prizes were given to those participants who have

ATI-RTC X is celebrating OA Month and NRAM through PalayHigalaay sa ATI. Sabayang Tanghalian is one of the line-up activities of PalayHigalaay sa ATI in celebration of the NRAM.
Other activities of PalayHigalaay sa ATI Year 2 are the following, to wit:

• Chef Wars : The Organic and Rice Edition
• OAng Quiz Bigas
• Virtual airing of “Mga Kwentong RCEF”
• Amazing Rice Season 2
• Bigas Giving

The activities were conducted while strictly observing Covid-19 health procotocols.

The culmination activity will be on November 26, 2021 at ATI-RTC X, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
