Province of Bukidnon---Giving financial and moral support in this time of pandemic to the grantees of the Educational Assistance for the Youth in Agriculture (EAsY Agri) scholarship program has never been more timely.

Coming from Manolo Fortich, Malaybalay City and Valencia City, the 11 grantees were personally visited and commended by Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez. The 11 grantees received their monthly stipend amounting to Php 5,000.00, with lodging allowance of Php1,000.00 per month, and a book allowance amounting to Php1,500.00.

Having received their allowance and monthly stipend, the scholars were reminded by Director Echavez to (1.) focus on their studies, (2.) to save and spend only what is essential and necessary, (3.) aspire to become a role model student, (4.) make their parents and their respective municipalities proud, (5.) keep abreast with agri-developments by engaging in ATI's webinar series and e-Learning, and (6.) commit for a total personality development as an EAsY Agri scholar.

The provision of educational assistance for the youth is a college scholarship program in support to the children of smallholder farmers and fishers who are inclined to agriculture by providing them equal opportunities to pursue a degree program in agriculture, agricultural engineering or other agriculture-related courses.

In ATI-RTC X, the EAsY Agri Scholarship Program is facilitated by secretariat Jhoylie Mae Rosales-Caumban and Aden Jade Bajo-Bonggo. MAO Gemma Cania of Manolo Fortich and FITS center chief Owen Hazel Callanta Quinquiño of Malaybalay City also helped facilitate and extended moral support to their respective scholars.

Proper health protocols were followed and observed during the handing out of cheque such as social distancing, wearing of face mask and face shield to ensure safety to all involved with the program.
