Barangay Minalwang, Claveria, Misamis Oriental---Intending to attain peace and development in Barangay Minalwang, Claveria, a launching of the One DA Adopt-a-Community Program led by DA-RFO 10 Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado transpired as attended by various attached agencies of the department. "Ang DA andam mutabang sa inyo. Ang DA magpaduol sa inyuha (DA is ready to help you. DA will bring services closer to you). We are committed to help especially Sitio Kalhaan," DA-10 Regional Executive Director Collado said.
The center's commitment, through the leadership of Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez is people empowerment and capability building via training and extension support. The training and extension support intends to enhance farm productivity, and increase the farmers' income to lessen the poverty incidence among residents. 60 Higaonon recipients attended the said launching.

A tree planting activity followed after the commitment signing. Later, Training Specialist III Teodosia D. Jaraba and Media Production Specialist Vic Thor Palarca handed out corporate books and IEC-materials.

The 58th Infantry Battalion of the AFP led by Major General Andres Centino was deployed to keep the peace and order in check.
