FLS on Sustainable Pig Production hold Graduation

CABANGLASAN, Bukidnon – “We need to diversify our farm with the combination of crops and livestock component. In sustainable agriculture, you need to have daily, weekly and even monthly income,” were the words of Dr. Angelito Y. Quirog, Training Center Superintendent II of ATI-RTC X during the graduation ceremony of the Farmers Livestock School on September 22, 2017.

A total of 50 graduates, equipped with appropriate knowledge on sustainable pig production, beamed with happiness as they receive their Training completion certificates. They have been attending the Season-long training since July 14, 2017. The training which ran for two months meet every Tuesday. The participants said that they will miss the weekly discussions which are productive.

The event was attended by various personalities, namely: Dr. Anita S. Macabugto, the Municipal Agriculturist of Cabanglasan; Dr. Nancy V. Diez, Provincial Veterinarian of Bukidnon; Hon. Renante V. Inocando, the Municipal Mayor of Cabanglasan; Hon. Nilo David C. Suarez, Committee Chairman on Agriculture and Dr Angelito Y. Quirog of ATI-RTC X. They gave the graduates not only words of appreciation and inspiration, but they also boosted the participants’ self-confidence. (from report of Jeric Cabatac)
