Series of Provincial Consultations held for a Unified Extension Service

In her earnest message, OIC-Center Director Maria Lydia Adviento Echavez highlights the farmers by helping them increase their income and productivity as well as continuously attain food security.

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte---"As partners, we endeavor to be in one direction by going back to basics in providing food and to increase income and productivity of our farmers", stresses OIC-Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez in her welcome address during the Provincial Consultation & Planning Workshop for Agri-Fishery Extension (CY 2019-2020) at the Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

With its effort to come up with a unified extension services and implementation of trainings, the center recently held a “Provincial Consultation and Planning Workshop for Agri-Fishery Extension (CY 2019-2020)” among the five provinces namely Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, and Camiguin.

The PAO’s along with the Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) as partners in extension delivery in the aforementioned five provinces has been instrumental in attaining the center’s extension efforts for its clients and beneficiaries as well as towards a more fruitful partnership with various stakeholders.

Meanwhile, the ATI-RTC X team consisted of OIC-Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (PMEU) Chief Philip D.
