(Farming is not just planting but a business. Even malunggay and lemon grass, we should not always give them for free because every plant and animal in the farm has a price and can give us income.) This is what Dr. Angelito Y. Quirog, TCS II of ATI-RTC X emphasized in his inspirational message. Dr. Quirog was one of the speakers during the graduation ceremony of the School On -the-Air Program (SOA) on Goat Production, held yesterday in Central Mindanao University, Musuan Bukidnon.

Dr. Quirog also encouraged the participants: “Atong panghimarauton ang atong nasinatian nga kalisud sa kinabuhi. Ug atong paningkamutan nga dili na kita mobalik niadto nga kasinatian pinaagi sa pagpanguma” ( Let us condemn the hardships that we have gone through in life. And we should work hard that we will never experience it again through farming).

The SOA on Goat Production was intended to encourage the farmers to venture into goat production, as it has a growing demand with the growing health awareness and consciousness of many people nowadays.
The graduation ceremony was attended by almost 400 graduates and guests. The graduates come from the municipalities of Pangantucan, Dangcagan, Kitaotao, Don Carlos, and Maramag, and from the City of Valencia, where many of them are first timers to visit the famous university.

The activity ended the three month on the air program with Radio Station DXMU FM, based at CMU, Musuan. The program was anchored by Ms. ELgie Iman Aninayon, Broadcast Announcer Producer II of DXMU FM based at CMU, Musuan, Bukidnon. The program is another one of the several successful program partnerships between ATI-RTC X and the Central Mindanao University.
