BINHI NG PAGASA Program On Its 22nd Leg in Bukidnon

The BINHI NG PAGASA program just concludeud its 22nd training course in the whole province of Bukidnon. The training is intended for Empowering the Young Filipino Farmers on Sustainable Agriculture.

Fifteen young farmer participants from Talakag, Bukidnon joined the three-day training from August 21 – 23, 2017, held at Alomah’s Place Dahilayan, Manolo Forrich, Bukidnon.

Developing young farmers to become Agri-preneurs is the goal of BINHI NG PAGASA Program. They are trained on new age agricultural technologies and methods. After the three day training, they are provided with supplies in the form of an "agricultural start up kit" which would allow them to grow their own crops. They are expected to have internalized the importance of leadership and values formation, the concept of Diversified and Integrated Farming System(DIFS), and be able to manage their own farm.
