ATI Compound, El Salvador City---Responding to the center’s invitation to participate in the two-day founding anniversary celebration of ATI, some selected students of El Salvador Colleges, St. Joseph Academy of El Salvador, El Salvador City Central School and Stellulae Mariae School attended the said event.

Aside from actively joining the Quiz Bee and Poster Making Contest mounted by the organizers, the students were engaged in the actual demo on soil and seedling preparation. A one-hour discussion on different farming activities and how food is produced also transpired. An open forum followed to answer basic questions coming from the young participants.

This year's theme is "Sustaining Vibrant Agricultural Productivity through Harmonized and Productive Extension Services". ATI, as the training arm of the Department of Agriculture (DA) has been purveying quality trainings and extension efforts for more than 30 years. (with reports from Jhoylie Mae C. Rosales, DMO-II)
