BARANGAY CADAYUNAN, Marawi City---Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol leads the launching of the Farm Mechanization Program in Barangay Cadayunan II, Marawi City Tuesday morning of July 17.
Farm mechanization is the key to modernize Philippine agriculture since it provides the needed technology to carry out efficient planting and to avert post-harvest losses.
With ATI-RTC X showing its full support, OIC-Center Director Maria Lydia Adviento Echavez, Administrative Officer IV Efren C. Macario, Agriculturist-II Javier Pacuribot Andalan and Media Production Specialist-II Vic Thor A. Palarca attended the said event.
"We want to see Marawi rise from the ashes. Habang ako ang kalihim ng agrikultura, Marawi and Lanao will always have a special place in my heart." the Secretary said during the program proper of the Farm Mechanization Program and Turn-over of Special Area for Agricultural Development Projects held at the City Hall Grounds in Marawi City.
