Lantapan, Bukidnon---The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) recently mounted its week-long Management Review for the year at the Binahon Agroforestry Farm (BAFF) in Lantapan, Bukidnon.
The activity tackled the Center’s accomplishments for the first six months of the year. Each focal person was assigned to report their individual accomplishments. Focals with good performance and attained the most accomplishments were lauded by the management. Unmet targets were then given suggestion during the discussion proper in the open forum.
“It’s time for us to be together out from the center so that we can concentrate with the things we are going to do here. So, why are we here? Today is our Management Review and this is part of the measure that is being undertaken to maintain our ISO Certification. Now is our assessment on how far have we gone, how far have we implemented, how far we have complied with the quality systems that we have set”, OIC-Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez said during the Opening Remarks.
Ms. Echavez shared the concept of the 5 A’s which is Assessment, Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaption in terms of compliance with the ISO Certification. “What are we going to assess? We are going to assess to know where we are now and how much we have achieved and how much still we have to do. And each of the process owners have to deliver their presentation so that all of us will be aware. We should stick to the “One ATI, One ISO” scheme. If we are aware, we can take acceptance of the responsibilities and our participation of what we are going to do. If we take responsibility, then we can act on it. Also, we have to adapt and learn to live with it.” she added.
A Transformational Leadership Training was also conducted to sharpen the leadership abilities of the participants and instill in them pertinent decision-making skills.
Meanwhile, the event also provided an opportunity for the staff to gather and engage through fellowship and team building though Stress Management activity. The purpose of the said activity was to enhance and strengthen the relationship among employees from the Center Director down to the Job Orders in order for them to come up with better results in their plans and programs.
