AFMech Mid-Year Assessment Workshop Held

Los Baῆos, Laguna--- The Biosystems Mechanization (BIOMECH) have worked towards contributing to increasing agricultural productivity, improving the income of farmers, manufacturers and entrepreneurs, and shaping the country's mechanization RD&E and policy direction.

With its ongoing Mid-Year Assessment Workshop in Splash Mountain, Los Banos, Laguna, a total of 15 AFMech focals from the regions including the ATI-CO attended the activity from July 11-14, 2017. One of the activities of the AFMech focals Mid-Year Assessment was the Educational Visit to Center for Agri-Fisheries and BIOMECH in CEAT, UPLB and the Agricultural Machinery Testing Evaluation Center (AMTEC).

Meanwhile, the AMTEC-UPLB is the only national testing center for all agricultural machineries, implements and equipments. All the manufacturers should submit for testing all the units to AMTEC prior to multiplication of a certain machinery or equipment. Engr. Marife Santiago together with Engr.
