ATI Compound, Poblacion, El Salvador City---Maria Lydia Adviento-Echavez, who has been with the Agricultural Training Institute since 1988, and assumed as OIC-Center Director for four years is now the center’s Training Center Superintendent II (TCS-II).
She rose from the ranks, starting as Information Officer II, Training Specialist II then Training Specialist III before her appointment as Training Center Superintendent I.
It took a season of pandemic before it was revealed by the selection board her new designation of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 10 (ATI-RTC 10) as TCS-II.
She was one of the original staff under the ATI - Regional Training Center based in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental before the restructuring in 2004 where the four training centers in Region-10 were fused to become one regional training center based in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
Lydia was born on August 20, 1964 in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental, where she and her family still resides. She is married to Engr. Ruel Echavez of Initao, Misamis Oriental.
Lydia is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Major in Agricultural Economics from the University of the Philippines in Los Baños (UPLB), Laguna.
