ATI-RTC X launches FSTP Season-Long Training

ALUBIJID,Misamis Oriental ─ As the fight for corn sufficiency in the region 10 continues, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X opens another Season of the Training on Farmers Scientist Training Program (FSTP) as it officially launched its Phase I on May 22, 2018 in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental.

The launching was joined by thirty (30) corn farmers from the different Barangays of Alubijid. The same farmers will be officially enrolled in the training, and will have to attend a six-month, once a week training session on FSTP from May 31, 2018 to October 19, 2018.

The activity was graced by Ms. Maria Lydia A. Echavez, the OIC-Center Director of ATI in Region 10, and some representatives from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), National Tobacco Administration (NTA), Department of Agriculture- Regional Field Office 10, Provincial Agriculture Office of Misamis Occidental and the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB)-FSTP.

This is also in partnership with LGU-Alubijid, Misamis Oriental.
