Six interns from Region 10 under the Young Filipino Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan were given laptops for them to use for their online training especially in Chineses Language Class prior to leaving the country.
The six interns are: 1. Marshal Samuel C. Butlig of Cagayan de Oro City; 2. Krizha Mae A. Valdon of Claveria, Misamis Oriental; 3. Vincent Paulo P. Lizada of Bangcud, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon; 4. Jason Rey S. Gonzales of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon; 5. Mark Arnold M. Balansag and Angela H. Banual, both from Impasugong, Bukidnon.
The laptops will be used by the interns in preparation for their post training project proposal making. The laptops were given by Taiwan government as counterpart.
The Interns followed a rigorous screening process starting with examination, interview and actual farm validation. The Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program is an 11 months hands-on training in Taiwan and given to qualified Out-of-School Youths (OSYs) who are engaged in farming.
