4-H/RBO Kicks Off With A Consultation

HOTEL CONCHITA, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, February 20, 2019. The 4-H Club and Rural Based Organizations of Region 10 convene again today as a jumpstart for the implementation of the 2019 programs, and planning for the next years.

Forty six regional representatives of 4-H Club, P4MP and RIC officers and Coordinators attended the consultation and planning workshop. All the five provinces of Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon, Camiguin and Lanao del Norte, and the two cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan are highly represented. The consultation is an annual activity intended to give updates and discuss issues on the current status of the National and Regional RBO Development Programs. This is also an opportune time for the different provincial RBOs to plan for a harmonized activities for their province.

Ms. Cristine A. Galupo, Focal Person for 4-H Club and RBOs presented the importance of harmonization in the activities of all RBOs of each province. This is to ensure a holistic development of the agriculture sector in their particular area. Also, Ms Galupo reminded the coordinators, particularly the 4-H, to have all the members profile submitted to ATI. The policy of no profile, no training and contests participation or project grants will be strictly implemented. The activity will run until tomorrow, February 21, 2019
