KAPATAGAN, LANANAO DEL NORTE - “These are only small things that you will receive. But if only you make them grow and use them according to their purpose, they will become big and will give you a source of livelihood that will last a lifetime.” These are the inspirational words of HON. MAYOR BARRY Y. BAGUIO of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, during the distribution of post training support under the livestock and Tier 2 programs. The activity was held at the Municipal Grounds where more than 70 farmers and livestock raisers of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte assembled to receive their post training support from ATI and the Local Government Unit of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte.

Twenty five livestock raisers carried home their goats as incentives for a 100% participation to the training on Farmer’s Livestock School on Halal Meat and Dairy Goat Production. Many more farmers received budding knife, tapping knife, pruning shears, sprinklers, bolo, and other garden tools in support to the training programs on Rubber Tapping, Forage and Pasture Development and Duck Egg Production under the Tier 2 program.

Municipal Agriculturist Fedelina M. Cuaresma promised the farmers and livestock raisers that the Municipal Agriculture Office will continuously assist them through the LGU's partners such as ATI who have the capacity to provide technical capabilities through training programs and post training support to jump start a project where they could apply their learned knowledge and skills.

Ms. Teodosia D. Jaraba, Training Specialist III of ATI-RTC X for her part lauded the Local Government of Kapatagan for taking time to distribute the post training support to the farmers.
