ATI-RTC 10 recently held its CY 2020 Year-end Assessment and Planning for CY 2021-2022 for the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Rice Extension Service Program (RCEF-RESP) at Chali Beach Resort and Conference.
The assessment was participated by DA-RFO 10,TESDA-10, PhilMec, and learning sites who are conducting Farm Field School (FFS) from Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, and Lanao del Norte to present their accomplishments, and to raise their issues and concerns for the year 2020.
Maria Lydia A. Echavez, ATI-RTC X OIC-Center Director, in her inspirational message thanked the participants for gracing the event despite the pandemic. “Dako kaayo among pasalamat sa among mga bag-o nga mga Learning Site, ug hilabi na pud sa mga madasigon nga mga LS namo nga kaniadto pa gyud ga suporta sa ATI,”(We are very grateful to our new Learning Sites, and to our LS who have been very supportive to ATI ever since) she said.
Dir.Echavez also encouraged the Learning Sites to learn from each other. “This is an avenue with you to network with other FS/LS so you would also learn from them. We want you to learn from each other. And we want you to be more ready, and we know that you are, especially on the plans that we have for ATI.”
The purpose of the consultation is to get the training needs of the participants especially in the light of the Mandanas Ruling which will be fully implemented in 2021.
This year, the Center will be conducting various trainings covering all commodities along the value chain. Seed Technology trainings will also be implemented. #
