ATI Celebrates 32nd Anniversary in all Regions

EL SALVADOR CITY, MISAMIS ORIENTAL--- The 32nd Anniversary of the Agricultural Training Institute will be held simultaneously at the ATI Central Office and the 16 Network of Training Centers all over the country. For ATI-RTC X, the celebration will be on January 29-30, 2019 at El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental. The event promises to be both informative and fun.
The event opens with a motorcade within El Salvador City. This will be participated by all ATI Staff and some of its partners. This will be followed by an Ecumenical Service and Blessing of the new vehicle and Dormitory and a groundbreaking for the soon to be constructed 4H Hub and Livestock Processing Center. This will then be followed by the Oath Taking of Newly appointed employees and Awarding of ATI Loyalty Awardees. Special Awards will also be extended to its partners. The highlight of the morning activity is the Cover reveal of its soon to be launched Gastronomica Book: A Celebration of Good Food, Delicacies and Learning Site Products of Region 10.
On the afternoon of January 29, a Seminar on Product Labelling will be conducted for Learning Sites partners. Simultaneous activities include Poster Making Contest (for Elementary and High School levels), Quiz Bee (for LS and 4Hers).
A Free Seminar on financial Literacy will be held on the second day. Financial Literacy won in the online poll conducted by the Center, lording over choices such as Free Range Chicken Production, Mushroom Production, Urban Gardening and NFTS. Speakers for the training are from Freedom Academy and FintQ.
This year’s theme of the celebration is “Sustaining Vibrant Agricultural Productivity through harmonized and productive extension services.”
