Ms. Maria Lydia Adviento-Echavez, the Center Director of ATI-RTC X has been with the Agricultural Training Institute since 1988. She rose from the ranks, starting as Information Officer II, Training Specialist II then Training Specialist III before her appointment as Training Center Superintendent I. She is one of the original staff under the ATI - Regional Training Center based in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental before the restructuring in 2004 where the four Training Centers in Region 10 were fused to become one Regional Training Center based in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.

Lydia was born on August 27, 1964 at Alubijid, Misamis Oriental where she and her family still live. She is married to Engr. Ruel Echavez of Initao, Misamis Oriental.

Lydia is a graduate of BS Agriculture major in Agricultural Economics from the University of the Philippines in Los Baños (UPLB), Laguna. She then took her Masters in Business Administration at Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City. .
