In the Philippines, the average age of farmers is 57. This is alarming because as an agricultural country, who will now produce our food in the near future? The youths must be enticed to venture into agriculture. But this is easier said than done. There is a need to change their perspective about agriculture. They have to be convinced that there is money in agriculture.
