CABANGLASAN, Bukidnon – “We need to diversify our farm with the combination of crops and livestock component. In sustainable agriculture, you need to have daily, weekly and even monthly income,” were the words of Dr. Angelito Y. Quirog, Training Center Superintendent II of ATI-RTC X during the graduation ceremony of the Farmers Livestock School on September 22, 2017.
MAGPATAO, LALA, Lanao Del Norte – The 2-,month Farmer Livestock School (FLS) on Meat-Type Goat Production yielded 18 graduates, 8 females and 10 males. The graduation was held on September 18, 2017 at The Country Farm, Magpatao, Lala, Lanao del Norte.
TALISAY CITY, Negros Occidental. The Pambansang Mannalon-Mag-uuma, Magbabaul, Magsasaka ng Pilipinas (P4MP) opens its 16th Farmers’ National Congress here at Nature’s Village, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental- A Series of Provincial Consultations for FY 2018 and FY 2019 are being conducted by ATI-RTC X. It was well attended and strengthened ATI’s relationship with various stakeholders in Agriculture. The first batch for Misamis Occidental was held on September 8, 2017. The second batch for Bukidnon was held at Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on September 12, 2017.
MALITBOG, Bukidnon – The increasing need for farmers to add value to their products led ATI-RTC X to conduct the training “Increasing Income by Enhancing Quality and Shelf-life: Training on Fruit Processing”. The training was held on September 20-22, 2017 in Malitbog, Bukidnon.
INITAO, Misamis Oriental – A Total of 112 participants were conferred as graduates during the joint graduation the Training of Trainers (TOT) on Corn Production and Farmer Field School (FFS) on September 20, 2017 at S&G Tellights Overview, Initao, Misamis Oriental. The graduates, 18 from TOT and 94 from FFS were composed of LGU personnel and farmers from all over Region 10.
TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental – The three-day “training, Mango Matters: A Training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Mango Production” yielded 28 graduates. The graduation was held at Tangub City was held on September 15, 2017.
“Our success in these venture(rubber) is in our hands. We must keep (knowledge learned) it our mind and heart, and apply it.” Mr. Daniel Obice urged his co-participants during the Training on Rubber Tapping Management & Budding Propagation Techniques at Philippine Carabao Center(PCC), Musuan,Maramag, Bukidnon on September 18-20, 2017.
