DILIMAN, Quezon City – In celebrating its 31st Founding Anniversary as the training arm of the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) mounted the “ATIng Merkado sa SiyuDAd” which showcases various farm and organic food products from the regions via its Learning Site (LS) partners.
The word “Bahandi” in the Cebuano dialect which means treasure, riches, or wealth depicts an abundance of resources and material possessions. We proclaim that our local farmers are our very own bahandi since they are feeding the whole nation. Producing food which requires hard work and resilience is a noble effort.
EL SALVADOR CITY, Misamis Oriental---The ATI- RTC 10 Internal Quality Audit Team conducted a Mock Audit in preparation to its intention to secure the PNS/ISO 9001:2015 Certification. The mock audit is done so that defects in office processes may be corrected so that when third party Auditors will do the Audit, the lapses shall have been corrected or at the very least minimized.

LALA, LANAO DEL NORTE. Fifty farm and fisher families of Lanao del Norte received PhP 5,000 zero interest loan from the Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Emmanuel Piñol on January 5, 2018. The Secretary visited Lala, Lanao del Norte to visit those who were affected by Typhoon Vinta and to Turn-over DA Projects.
The ATI-RTC X has been receiving a lot of application for Accreditation as ATI Learning Sites. This week, three farms within Cagayan de Oro City were validated and recommended for accreditation by the ATI Technical Working Group (TWG). The farms are: My Only Way, Inc.
OPOL,Misamis Oriental-- The demo area of the Farmer Field School (FFS) on Integrated Rice-Duck Farming System (IRFDS) gave an actual yield of 4.5 Tons. This yield has encouraged the graduates to go into IRFDS in their own farms since the cost is much lesser since they did not apply any chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Mr. Jose Rey Alo, the e-Learning Process Advisor of ATI mentored six (6) Information Services staff and three (3) from other Sections to beef up its web presence. The group composes the Web Team of ATI-RTC X). While it may be considered a lean team, the activity is geared towards capacitating each and every one of the Team so that the synergy will deliver best results.
