ATI 10 trains Tubod Corn Farmers on GAP, Farm Diversification

Tubod, LANAO DEL NORTE---From monocropping to diversified farming and traditional practices to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), these systems and approaches in farming were being advocated by the Department of Agriculture (DA) over the years with high hopes that it would help in boosting productivity and improve profitability of marginalized farmers.

ATI Training Hall, EL SALVADOR CITY--- Realizing the importance of sustaining the livestock supply in the country, the National Livestock Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA) will conduct a National Livestock Summit. The activity will highlight the importance of livestock farming along with grains and crops which is a profitable and sustainable venture.

Celebrating April as Filipino Food Month

Starting this year, every April is Filipino Food Month! This is to celebrate our rich and diverse food fare that makes us truly Filipino.

With that in mind, the Agricultural Training Institute is one with the nation in promoting our native Filipino delicacies as part of the celebration of the National Filipino Food Month (NFFM) or the Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino.

ATI Compound, EL SALVADOR CITY---The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) in coordination with ATI-RTC VIII through their Information Services Section (ISS) organized the KITS (Knowledge, Inputs, & Technology Sharing) for FITS (Farmers’ Information and Technology Services) Learning Journey comprising of FITS agents and Magsasaka Siyentista (MS).
