I will not be writing about witches here as the title connotes and I will not mention my impression nor appreciation with the phenomenal song "Defying Gravity" from the musical Wicked, composed by Stephen Schwartz, which was originally recorded by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth on May 10, 2003, and released on December 16, 2003, since the song was already a certified hit both here and abroad.
But of course, I am using (with credit) the title for this blog which I found it fitted to our tasks in the Agricultural Training Institute that we sometimes had a bittersweet relationship with ourselves whether to push harder or not.
Bringing its philosophy: “Adhering to quality governance in extension and training, the institute cultivates a sense of commitment and teamwork among its employees to ensure utmost transparency, accountability and partnership in its operations and to guarantee client-oriented, gender sensitive, demand-driven, cost-effective, proactive, and participatory interventions,” and for me, is indeed a gigantic task laden upon our shoulders.
With the new administration at hand, our tasks will surely remain the same that is to serve our clientele with utmost sincerity and dedication, however, in every turn of events, there are twists that come along the way to make our services more prolific not just with our countrymen but to our own selves as well.
Along with these, we will be facing our challenges with seriousness or shall I say we will defy gravity to the highest, as the line of the song that goes: "Everyone deserves the chance to fly!" thus, we at ATI, we will continue to spread our wings with greatness and passion as one nation and ready as always in taking the lead.
