Flashback…
The last two (2) blog entries that I have was in March and December 2014 respectively (yes! It’s been 13 months ago that I left this space as is) – I know that being busy is not an excuse since, everybody was busy but of course we have different intensities.
What matters most is that I am back!
My heart cannot contain the happiness that I felt during the 1st Knowledge Management (KM) Updates last February 4-6, 2016 but at the same time besieged (sorry for the word), because of the number of representatives from our regional counterparts in the Information Services Section (ISS).
We maybe are inferior in number but all of us are superior in terms of the heart because that’s what Information Services (IS) is all about.
Team effort…
The first KM’s theme “voices, images, pages IS: nothing less” manifested what and who IS people are for. Imagine, even if given the slimmest time – everybody delivered. Remember the introduction of participants per region including the central office? (well, because of too much excitement on the unique approaches, the objective of getting to know each other were not materialized because most of us cannot recall who’s who and from what region they came from) – and, this made the “tenured” as majority had put it of edge (because almost everybody knew their faces) – and these also made us gain minus points especially on the “bulagaan” round (see, the rhythm!)
Our body may have ached too much but our hearts and minds desired to give our best for the benefit of our team. This spirit is the energy that we need in order to make Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) an organization to reckon where clients’ services are on its prime to build dreams and change lives.
We may have shared the same highlight of the event but definitely, we have different stories to tell. The activity is as colorful of our respective teams that is red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, brown, gray, black, violet and pink – as Viq has put it “Orange is the new black.”
Being with the ORANGE team, we are blessed to have each other’s strengths and weakness as what google has it, orange is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. It represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
To the IS Team, ATI-RTC 3 for hosting the event and our creative facilitators Sir Manolo, Nonoy, Jed, Mishael, Philip and Ana. Daghang salamat sa tanan (thank you very much).
