Whether it coincided with the "yellow color of the day(s)" the nation had, the enlarged yellow e-Learning buttons spread all over the façade of ATI 8's booth were a hit and captivated many particularly students during the Visayas State University (VSU) 85th Anniversary on August 1-11.

The yellow buttons we gave away to our booth visitors attracted others to visit our booth and see what we have in stored for them. The center's booth showcased the e-Extension program of the Institute to advocate the use of information and communication technology in attaining a modernized agriculture and fisheries sector. It specifically provided VSU guests and constituents information on the e-Farming and e-Learning components of the program, featuring the text support service which is the 391-32 and the on-line courses that are available and accessible via the net.

While ATI 8 staff pinned the e-Learning buttons in their anniversary hats during the parade, others who availed of it proudly pinned them in their anniversary shirts, their way of heralding the program and letting others know that there is another efficient alternative to classroom learning.

And because it’s yellow, it was more than just e-Learning that time. Whatever added meaning they had to the yellow button, the message was clear, it reminded them of a change that took place and made them aware of a change that is taking place that we are confident they would embrace.
