Lead-off hitter

Who's first?

It's year ending and it's reckoning time. With KM we always recognized the innovativeness and creativeness of each RTC in enhancing access to AFE knowledge products and services. The recognition was no flare, just text sent to all congratulating those in the lead for the most news, first to upload or for a new block. Sometimes it's just like "I appreciate the blog of __ or the innovations of __" and everyone is high because we are a class. Remember: "class is already up and need not strive to look better by making others look worse".

The reports showed that we are competing with our own. Each performed more than before and made more innovations.

This year's KM Update, dubbed "KM Talk" is another milestone. Innovations learned were thoroughly discussed for a vibrant and up-to-date KM services. e-Learning courses are adding to the growing list. SOA penetrated prison cells. K bases are created and K kiosks are established. We also enhanced our KM capabilities through KM learning and sharing. The Philippine e-Learning Society conference we attended with the theme "Aligning eLearning Capacities toward an Integrated ASEAN" was enriching.

With ATI's new structure are new breed of would-be knowledge managers who are joining our class "who can walk with kings and keep its virtue, and talk with crowds and keep the common touch".

ATI Today

Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves. This is the ATI Today, more committed to bring you extension services beyond boundaries.
