Defying Gravity

I will not be writing about witches here as the title connotes and I will not mention my impression nor appreciation with the phenomenal song "Defying Gravity" from the musical Wicked, composed by Stephen Schwartz, which was originally recorded by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth on May 10, 2003, and released on December 16, 2003, since the song was already a certified hit both here and abroad.

Blended Training is the New Flavor

Jiddu Krishnamurti’s quote about education touched me. He said: “There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.”

These words reverberates my sanity. It may sound cliché but for me it means a lot. Krishnamurti, who was a speaker and writer on matters that concerned humankind, has a point that he wanted us to ponder.

Nothing Beats the Heat, with IS

Flashback…

The last two (2) blog entries that I have was in March and December 2014 respectively (yes! It’s been 13 months ago that I left this space as is) – I know that being busy is not an excuse since, everybody was busy but of course we have different intensities.

What matters most is that I am back!

The Joys of 2014

My second blog for the year… and I am so much thankful for 2014, it’s been one of the greatest. I had so many experiences to linger, from home to work and to life in general.

My first blog talks about my experiences that provided me and my family another life to celebrate despite the all not-so-good turnout of events. Thus, clinging the past recounting all the mess will just lead us into woe.

Up Close and Personal

I am just being reminded to have this blog title with the book that I’ve read written by Fern Michaels, where she explored the dynamics of one extraordinary family, the complex bond between mother and daughter, and the transforming power of the loves we find, the loves we lose, and the ones we carry with us always--no matter where life takes us.

Of course, I will not be talking about the book here, instead; I am just borrowing the title for her credits because I am amazed with it – just that!

ATI Today

Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves. This is the ATI Today, more committed to bring you extension services beyond boundaries.
