Go Negosyo, KAMMP-7 culminates with 29 mentees

CENTRAL VISAYAS. Twenty-nine successful mentees across the region completed the Kapatid Agri Mentor Me Program (KAMMP-7), conducted by Go Negosyo and the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 7 (ATI-7). The virtual graduation ceremony was held on December 11, 2020 hosted by Ms. Abby Famadico of Go Negosyo and Dr. Merrian Piquero Soliva of ATI-7.

Gracing the event was Ms. Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar, Go Negosyo Senior Adviser for Agripreneurship and Mindanao Programs Head and Vice President of Aboitiz,. where she reiterated on her message that Agripreneurship and Entrepreneurship are the drivers of economic recovery and the mentees and the mentors are the heart of this program.

Center Director, Dr. Carolyn May O. Daquio on her opening remarks disclosed that she is very much happy that majority of the KAMMP-7 mentees are learning sites in the region. Moreover, she is grateful that the activity was a success because people need to survive and co-exist with the pandemic.

Secretary William Dar also gave his message of support to the successful mentees for their time and effort to participate in this endeavor. He made mention that KAMMP is a great venue especially for small enterprises in the agriculture sector to become economic drivers of the nation.

Meanwhile, the keynote speaker of the online graduation is the Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder, Mr. Joey Concepcion III. In his message, he expressed his gratitude to the successful mentees and emphasized that to succeed, everyone must consider the right mindset because it is the ultimate aim of Go Negosyo that no Filipinos must be left behind in terms of economic success. More so, he wanted all the mentees to consider the 3Ms that is Mentorship, Money and Market.

The nine-module online program kicked-off last October 2, 2020 with the opening program and the session on Module 1 starting on October 6 while Module 9 ended on November 3, 2020.
The highlight of the activity was the presentation of individual Business Improvement Plan (BIP) last December 7, 2020.

The KAMMP-7 team of ATI-7 was composed of Reynadez L. Curayag, the Project Officer; Lhea Glory Mae B. Araña, co-project officer; technical support staff, Quennie Lou B. Vistal; Ma. Pamela N. Respecia and Merrian Piquero Soliva.
