CSC-Bohol briefs ATI-7 on PRIME-HRM

Tagbilaran City - The Agricultural Training Institute – VII (ATI-7) in its drive towards providing excellent services to its clientele recently concluded a one (1) day seminar on Program to Institutionalized Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) at Panda Tea Suites, this city on April 11, 2019. It also aims for the ATI-7 staff to be empowered, motivated, highly engaged, productive and excellence public service delivery being citizen-centric.

PRIME-HRM is a mechanism designed to elevate public sector human resource management (competencies, systems, and practices) to a level of excellence that fosters good governance. It also entails greater engagement not just of the HRM Officer but also of the officials and the rank and file employees of the agency. The seminar was participated by the ATI-7 personnel headed by its Center Director Carolyn May O. Daquio, PhD, while Civil Service Commission (CSC) Bohol Director Elizabeth B. Mateo, acted as the resource- facilitator of the event.

The CSC in support of the government’s commitment to provide efficient and effective public service delivery has implemented the PRIME-HRM. Dir. Mateo discussed the PRIME-HRM core HRM areas which includes Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP), Performance Management (PM), Learning and Development (L&D), and Rewards and Recognition (R&R). She also discussed the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
