TAGBILARAN CITY – A three-day Training on Project Proposal Development was held at ATI-7 Training Complex, Cabawan this city last February 13-15, 2019. The objective of the activity is to assist the participants in producing a sound and fundable project.
Thirty-five learning site cooperators and agriculture advocates from the cross sectors of the society from Region 7 attended the training.
Since technical writing is by far considered not so easy, most particularly to individuals who are not into this field. Though, the skill can be acquired, learned or both but could not be done over time.
Among this technical writing, project proposal development and or preparation which is primarily one deterrent for learning site cooperators or agriculture advocates who seek financial and technical support to advance their farm implementation.
Thus, ATI-7 designed a lecture and guided workshop method where the institute’s template was tailored-fit for participants by having a day-to-day output for them to digest the process.
It is on this premise where the attendees were assisted to understand the basic concept of project development; enhanced their writing skills and familiarized common terms and format in writing project proposal.
The pool of trainers includes Media Production Specialist II of ATI-7, Ma. Gracia Soliva-Pungay; Freelancer, Artemia A. Gotardo and the project officer, Merrian Piquero Soliva.
Through the step-by-step process, the participants were able to develop a full-blown project proposal because they appreciated the system used.
