KAMMP aims agri-preneurs synergy

The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center VII (ATI-RTC VII) in collaboration with Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office VII (DA-RFO VII) and the Philippine Council for Entrepreneurship (PCE) conducted the 1st batch of Kapatid Agri Mentor Me Training/Capacity Building (KAMMP) on September 12-14, 2017 at Sunset Villa, Taloto District, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

It aims to align the agri-preneur’s mindset and values and strategies to run a successful agri-enterprise, to equip their practical knowledge and strategies, to be future mentors to the program and to nurture a community of dynamic competent and sustainable agri-preneurs that is aligned with the Philippine Government’s thrust of inclusive growth.

The activity was attended by representatives of Peoples Organizations (PO) from Cebu and Bohol who have existing agri-enterprise projects.

The activity was composed of lecture-discussion and consultation to business and agriculture related topics and their existing projects both legal and technical aspects.

The participants were given assignments to prepare a business proposal to be presented during the next phase of the project on November 2017.
