Three staff of Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 7 served as Resource Persons during the Seminar on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) towards Enhanced SUC Extension Services on July 25-26, 2017 at the Farmers Training Center (FTC) Session Hall of the Bohol Island State University (BISU), Bilar Campus with fifty (50) faculty and students as participants.

The activity intends to give general orientation to faculty-extensionists and students about the good agricultural practices, good animal husbandry practices and good handing practices essential to the extension services of the university.

Dr. Carolyn May O. Daquio, Center Director of ATI-7 discussed the topic on Good Agricultural Practices, Vherney C. Cabasag II on Good Animal Husbandry Practices while Dr. Gracia F. Arado discussed on Good Hygiene/Handling Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices. Inputs on Understanding Extension emphasizing its six paradigms was also discussed by Dr. Daquio. Additional inputs on innovations were also shared by Dr. Daquio to inculcate the value of innovation among participants to be more effective in the delivery of their endeavors on instruction, research and extension.

Dr. Marina A. Labonite, Director of Research Development of whole BISU system, in her closing remarks stressed that the inputs shared by ATI 7 should be applied whenever applicable.
