A female agricultural extension worker experienced the actual utilization of a farm machinery
To hasten farm operation and answer the inadequacy of labor during planting season, the Agricultural Training Institute Regional Training Center VII (ATI-RTC VII) conducted the Training Course on Farm Machinery Operation for Agricultural Engineers (AE’s) with NCII at Bohol Island State University (BISU), Bilar Campus on July 12-18, 2017 which was attended by 34 participants employed at different municipalities of Bohol.
Both men and women experienced in driving different farm machinery to help farmers utilize and maintain the machineries given by different municipal local government units (MLGU) of Bohol.
Engr. Avejun Abucot said, “I never experienced driving even touching agricultural machineries during my college life and I am very much thankful to ATI-RTC 7 for conducting this training. It’s really necessary for us to help farmers via farm machineries.”
After the culmination of the said activity, the participants practiced their new skills to prepare themselves for the Farm Machinery Operation NC II assessment this coming August 29, 30 and 31.
