Dr. Ramon A. Taroc, Provincial Agriculturist of Siquijor said that the farmers and teachers must utilize the programs and projects initiated by the Agricultural Training Institute to improve their agricultural systems in their respective schools and farms.

Speaking before the 29 graduates of the Appreciation Course on Organic Agriculture at the Department of Education Training Center at Solangon, San Juan, Siquijor last July 27, 2017, Dr. Taroc took note of the programs of ATI-RTC 7 that are already being undertaken in the island province.

He stressed on the agency’s services such as the establishment/enhancement of learning sites, farmers’ field schools, farm business schools and recently the farmers’ radio program school-on-the-air which provides farmers the opportunities to know the agricultural production technologies even not attending seminars and trainings.
