TAGBILARAN CITY – A ten-day, 30 minutes’ radio program dubbed as “Takna sa Agrikultura” is now aired over station dyTR 1116 kHz AM in this city.
This program is brought to you by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC 7) which office is based in Cabawan District, Tagbilaran City with the objective of reaching a wide variety of audiences.
ATI-7 purposely runs this radio program with the hope of spreading the basics in urban gardening to listeners of all ages and provides freebies such as garden tools, seedlings, and other exciting prizes that the audience can get especially during this time of COVID-19 pandemic.
As the community is still on enhanced quarantine, “Takna sa Agrikultura,” radio program is identified as one of the many modalities of ATI-7 that their programs and services can be delivered to their clientele.
On its launching last April 27, 2020, at 3:00-3:30 P.M., the program will be aired until May 8, 2020, which is hosted by ATI-7's Information Officer and Farmcaster, Jun Alguin Oliver.
For those people who cannot access the frequency of the station, they, still can hear it via ATI-7's official Facebook page at ATI in Central Visayas since each episode will be live streamed.
