TAGBILARAN CITY. – The Agricultural Training Institute-VII through Dr. Carolyn May O. Daquio, ATI-7 Center Director recently received a certificate from DepEd Tagbilaran City as an active partner-agency in ensuring food sufficiency and security in the Province of Bohol. The said award was given during the 15th Founding Anniversary of DepEd Tagbilaran City Division on March 15, 2018 at Bohol Cultural Center, this city.

Meanwhile, ATI-7 in partnership with DepEd Tagbilaran City also acknowledged the efforts of the City Schools both Elementary and Highschool for the successful implementation of edible landscapes in their respective schools. Recognition and awarding of best performers and implementers was held on the said event. Winners of the edible landscaping were given by ATI-7 with P10,000.00, P7,000.00 and P5,000.00 worth of assorted garden tools and seeds for the first, second and third prizes respectively, and as an additional resources to improve their projects.

First place winners from elementary and secondary category were from Dao Elementary School and Manga National High School, second place were from Tiptip Elementary School and Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School, while the third place goes to Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School.
