TAGBILARAN CITY – The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 7 has been an active partner to the Ubi industry in the province of Bohol for the past years. As the lead agency in the training and extension services of the Department of Agriculture, the ATI is among the key stakeholders in the annual celebration of the Ubi Festival.

Among the palpable contribution of ATI in Central Visayas in the Ubi industry is the development of its online course on Ubi production which is still running until today from its launching last 2009.

In its 18th year, ATI is still very supportive in bringing in their services to the people and the community in general, thus, they had participated the three-day Ubi Festival last February 20-22, 2018 at the Plaza Rizal, this city with this year’s theme: “Ubi, Hamiling Lagutmon Ikapasigarbo sa mga Turista sa Tanang Panahon” through setting-up a booth where they distributed various Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials among clients, onlookers and passersby alike and at the same time provided farm business advisories.
