PALAYAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) OIC-Director Dr. Luz Taposok, together with the ATI Training Center Superintendents (TCS), took part in the inauguration and blessing of the new training facility in Region III.
Dr. Taposok marked that ATI will continue to produce conducive learning venues for its beneficiaries and clientele nationwide. She stated, “Delivering excellent extension services beyond boundaries are not only for our farmers and fishers, but also for professionals who will help us accomplish our major mission which is to alleviate poverty.”
She also expressed commendations for ATI-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) in Central Luzon (Region III) headed by Training Center Superintendent (TCS) II Veronica Concepcion Esguerra for their efforts in realizing projects such as this.
Furthermore, Dr. Taposok mentioned the convergence of ATI with various government agencies such as the Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and other local government units with regard to the establishment of learning sites in the different municipalities in the country.
She as well mentioned the upcoming ATI Training Center in Sulu and assured the Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol’s support to the said infrastructure.
According to Esguerra, the new structure means more series of training programs to be conducted in the region. She explained that the new training facility is part of the branding and the corporate image established by ATI.
Also present in the inauguration were Dr. Arlene Flores of ATI RTC Cordillera Administrative Region, Dr. Rogelio Evangelista of ATI RTC Ilocos Region, Mr. Renato Maguigad of ATI RTC Cagayan Valley, Vivien Carable of ATI RTC Bicol Region, Dr. Eden Bautista of ATI RTC Western Visayas, and Abdul Daya-an of ATI RTC SOCCSKSARGEN.
The said event was held last April 26, 2017 in Nueva Ecija.
