DILIMAN, Quezon City – Key legislative officials and family farming-related organizations in the country commended the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) for leading the development of a ten-year national roadmap for family farming.
The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) joins the global commemoration of the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH) this year that aims to raise global awareness on how protecting plant health can help end hunger, reduce poverty, protect the environment, and boost economic development.
DILIMAN, Quezon City - The Department of Agriculture (DA), in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN), led the annual celebration of the World Food Day (WFD) which culminated last October 17 at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
The Agricultural Training Institute, together with the other DA bureaus and attached agencies, joined the event which is also being celebrated in more than 150 nations across the globe.
