This document is a complete transliteration into a policy brief form of the policy study funded and conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute and Dr. Romeo Clemente of Isabela State University, respectively.
The EHRDP is intended for scholarships and trainings for the purpose of developing technical, scientific, professionals, and academic workers to meet the challenges and requirements of a modernized agriculture and fisheries sector in the Philippines.
The Agricultural Training Institute, the apex organization for a harmonized agriculture and fisheries extension (AFE) system, is leading the way in the development of the AFE Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) system that ensures the relevance and alignment of extension interventions to the goals of the agriculture and fisheries sector of the country.
This Agricultural and Fisheries Extension Grant System Manual was formulated to enable the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) to effectively administer the grant system and to ensure transparency.
This document presents a more comprehensive costing of AFE products and services as it involved inputs from a wider group of multi-stakeholders throughout the country. Moreover, this document serves as a platform to harmonize AFE costing despite its pluralistic nature.
