BUTUAN CITY- In preparation for the webinar's 3rd episode, Senior Agriculturist Heracleo A. Paler mentored Romer Amante, Technical Staff of the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 13 on July 9, 2020 as a dry run session.
BUTUAN CITY – As radio remains to be a useful tool in reaching farmers on a large scale, the School on-the-Air (SOA) program on Urban Gardening was launched on July 8, 2020 over Hope Radio Philippines Butuan 93.5 FM. Aired from 5:30 to 6:30 in the morning, Wednesday.
The SOA program comprised with 270 enrollees coming from fifteen (15) participating barangays of the City.
BRGY LOS ANGELES, BUTUAN CITY- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 recently conducted the first Regional Agriculture and Fishery Extension Network (RAFEN) meeting this year.
BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- Another exciting and worth-it to learn topic to be discussed on the 3rd episode of the “i-BIDA nATIn Program” this Friday, July 14, 2020. Online learners will get the chance to know the importance and benefits of the cruciferous vegetables, what are those and its management.
TANDAG CITY- The School-on-the-Air (SOA) program on Rice Production is finally airing this morning, July 7, 2020 its first episode. The program will be heard every Tuesday at 5:00-6:00 o’clock in the morning via Radyo Bandera 100.7 News FM radio station based in Tandag City. This will also be heard and viewed via Facebook Page on the said station through livestream.
BUTUAN CITY- Two staff from the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 participated in the Digital Farmers Program 101 Training of Trainers (TOT) webinar starting June 29-July 3, 2020.
BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture is mandated to train agricultural extension workers and farmers. The institute also lead in the delivery of e-extension services for agriculture and fisheries sector in the Philippines.

This Season covers vegetable gardening, specifically on the production and management side.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City-In the onset of the Webinar Season II which covers Vegetable gardening topics, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 continuously airing its first episode online. With a catchy title ‘Bet na Bet sa Cucurbits, learners gained lots of basic knowledge in producing cucurbits vegetable on June 26, 2020.
BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- In preparation for the first episode in its Season 2 of the Webinar on Vegetable Gardening, Mr. Ruben Ragas underwent two dry run sessions a week before he speaks on his topic.
TANDAG CITY- The School-On-the-Air (SOA) Program on Rice Production recently launched at Radyo Bandera 100.7 News FM radio station in Tandag City on June 30, 2020 at 5:00 to 6:00 o’clock in the morning.
It aimed at intensifying the promotion of rice production in the province of Surigao del Sur through the use of radio as communication medium.
BUTUAN CITY – In view of the implementation of the School-on-the-Air (SOA) on Inbred Rice Seeds Production and Farm Mechanization, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 and the Provincial Local Government Unit through the Provincial Agriculture Office of Agusan del Norte wrap up final preparations for its official launching this coming July 9, 2020.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Awakening the youth in their role in agriculture and fisheries development in this Covid-19 pandemic, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII launched its Song Writing Contest as one of the i-BIDA nATIn Skills Competition for Young Farmers.

BAAN KM 3, Butuan City – In support to the Department of Agriculture’s “Ahon Lahat , Pagkain Sapat Kontra sa Covid-19” or the Plant Plant Plant Program, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII encouraged urban communities to produce their own food through the Urban Agriculture Program.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – In view of the 2nd screening conducted by the Scholarship Committee of Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII last June 29, 2020, 27 out of 51 applicants were declared to advance to the examination and interview level of the Educational Assistance for the Youth (EAsY AGRI) Scholarship Program.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – To ensure that the Center is following the requirements of the International Organizational Standard (ISO) for Quality Management System (ISO), the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII Internal Quality (IQA) Audit Team will conduct its in-center evaluation on July 30.
BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII Livestock Program will provide starter kits to Barangay Animal Health Workers (BAHWs) in the region.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – In its continued engagement with the development efforts for conflict-affected areas in Surigao del Sur through the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-led Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC), the Agricultural Training Institute proposes a community-based intervention to ensure project sustainability.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
