ATI in Cagayan Valley
Farmer-graduates of the School-on-the Air (SOA) on PalayCheck System for Inbred Rice Production received urban gardening starter kits as part of their after training support on the program.
The SOA was participated by farmers from the municipalities of Cordon, San Mateo, Luna, and Cabatuan in the province of Isabela, and municipalities of Cabarroguis and Diffun in Quirino.
As part of our continuous effort to provide farmers, fishers and other stakeholders easy access to agri-fishery information, 10 Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers received an enhancement support from ATI-RTC 02.
Year-end assessment has been the practice in the corn extension program of the ATI in Region 02 to assess and review the program implementation and accomplishments of the corn agricultural extension workers (AEW).
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves. This is the ATI Today, more committed to bring you extension services beyond boundaries.
