M’lang, Cotabato- To see agriculture as a profitable and exciting career path, the center through its 4-H/RBO Program conducted the Training on Mushroom Production and processing held at M’lang, Cotabato last August 27-27, 2020.
KORONADAL CITY- In the bid to enhance and increase the access of information of the rice farmers relevant to them, the ATI-RTC 12 thru its Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund Program and Information Services Section conducted an initial field validation in the five (5) top rice-producing barangays in Koronadal City for the Farmer’s Information Technology Services (FITS) Center establishment.
LAMBAYONG, Sultan Kudarat- The center through its Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Program successfully conducted the Refresher Course on Inbred Rice Seed Production and Seed Certication on August 18-20, 2020.

Members of Anak-Baluan 4-H Club made themselves busy and productive through learning the ABCs of Mushroom Production during the training conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute Region 12 (ATI XII) on August 19-20, 2020.
The ATI-RTC XII came to four cities of Region XII to launch the Extension Support to Community Agriculture Production and Enhancement to Battle COVID-19 Pandemic (ESCAPE COVID-19). The center brought the program to Koronadal City, Kidapawan City, General Santos City, and Tacurong City on July 8, 16, 21, and 24, respectively.
In line with the National Nutrition Month, the ATI-RTC XII celebrates with a cooking contest and a quiz bee on July 27 at the ATI-RTC XII Session Hall.

GENERAL SANTOS CITY- The Regional Management Committee (RMC) members convene at Anchor Hotel, this City, for the CY 2020 2nd Regular Regional Management Committee Meeting.
Hosted by BFAR 12, this meeting aims to present the 1st Semester Accomplishment Report of the Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) of respective Department of Agriculture line and attached agencies.
TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- The ATI-RTC 12 staff convened last July 20, 2020 at the center’s session hall to attend the Midyear Review and Assessment.

KIDAPAWAN CITY- To showcase the vegetable gardens developed by some households during the state of community quarantine due to CoViD-19 pandemic, the ATI-RTC 12 launched the Garden Galing sa Quarantine Photo Contest.
KIDAPAWAN CITY- To harmonize the implementation of Rice Extension Services Program (RESP) under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) in the Region, the ATI-RTC 12 organized a series of consultation meetings along with the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in Region 12.
KIDAPAWAN CITY- The Season-long School On-the-Air (SOA) on Inbred Rice Seed Production and Farm Mechanization in SOCCSKSARGEN has already started.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
