CENTRAL VISAYAS – Eleven additional city/municipalities are on its roll-out of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Information Caravan in the region led by the Local Government Units (LGU) through the City and Municipal Agriculture Office.

BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Trainings and other activities conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-RTC 13) garnered an overall rating of 4.31 or an adjectival equivalent of “Very Satisfactory” from its participants during the first semester of 2020.
BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII conducted the 2020 Mid-year Assessment and Management Performance Operations Review on July 22-24, 2020 spearheaded by the Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (PMEU).

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-RTC 13) was able to reach its first semester targets for 2020 despite limited movements, resources, reduced work hours and restrictions in the conduct of face-to-face trainings and large gatherings due to Covid-19.
The organic agriculture and rice program are now on their final leg in conducting information caravans on backyard gardening. Another four batches of said campaign were conducted in different municipalities.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – With its goal to showcase the talent of the youth and strengthening their contribution during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII has chosen the Top 5 finalists of the “Garden Mo, Ibida Mo” vlogging contest after the committee conducted its preliminary judging last July 20, 2020.
The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), as the Extension Support Education and Training Services (ESETS) arm of the Department of Agriculture, is responsible for conceptualizing training and extension modalities. BANGA, Aklan – Certified just recently as Learning Site for Agriculture under Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF-LSA) is a farm located at Barangay Guinbaliwan, New Washington, Aklan. The Golden Harvest Farm is an irrigated land with a farm size of 1.4766 hectare. The farm is devoted to rice production and it is also integrated with vegetables, herbs and spices, livestock and poultry.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
