Gender and Development

Across different governments/countries particularly among developing countries, there is a growing consensus that sustainable development requires an understanding of both women and mens’ roles, needs, interests, priorities, responsibilities within the community and their relations to each other. Women and men equally play vital roles in the society and development affects both men and women differently. Women and men will have a different impact on programs and projects. ATI-CAR supports and empower both man and woman and must be involved in identifying problems, needs, constraints and solutions.
