The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is again offering thesis and dissertation study assistance to agricultural extension workers (AEWs). The scholarship shall provide subsidies to students who are pursuing postgraduate studies in Agriculture, Fisheries, and related multi-disciplinary course programs, with research studies within the priority researchable areas of the Department of Agriculture (DA).
Provision of grants for the Thesis and Dissertation Assistance shall include the following priority researchable areas:
The EAsY Agri program is back! The door is again open for capable and deserving youth, particularly the children of smallholder farmers and fishers to realize their dream of pursuing a professional career in agriculture, fisheries, and other related fields.
This program aims to produce agricultural professionals and/or new breeds of farmers equipped with the necessary knowledge and technical skills to create agribusiness enterprises.
Coverage of the Scholarship Grant Degree Courses Covered
Educational Grants for Extension Workers (EdGE) is the provision of scholarships for Graduate Degree Programs, specifically Master’s and Doctorate Degrees, for deserving and capable AEWs from the Department of Agriculture (DA), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Government Unit (LGUs). This is open to all incoming first year students who wants to pursue higher education towards AF.
This has reference to the Memorandum dated 01 March 2022, issued by the Office of the Undersecretary for Special Concerns requesting assistance to prequalify the participants of the 3-Minute Speech Contest, as part of the 2nd Youth in Agriculture Summit on April 21-22, 2022 with the theme: "Spark, Encourage, Engage the youth to Develop (SEED) new leaders for Agriculture."
In this regard, we are inviting any youth, agri-enthusiast, or young farmer from Western Visayas aged 18-30 years old to join.

The "Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan" a partnership between the Department of Agriculture, Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO), and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) aims to develop deserving young Filipino farmers to become farmer leaders and empowered agricultural entrepreneurs.
