BANGA, Aklan - “This KAMMP Online training is a venue that allows me to come out from my mindset that I need to be contented for what I have earned from my salary. Through this training, it enlightens me that even I am employed, I can still be an entrepreneur of my business that I love to do. This training provides me the courage and understanding of what shall I do to start up my agribusiness. It inspires me a lot to become a successful agripreneurs in the future like our training mentors." This is according to Ms. Maryneth B. Barrios, one of the 23 mentees as she discusses the impact of KAMMP online during her Business Improvement Plan (BIP presentation) on December 4, 2020. BIP is the major requirement for the Kapatid Agri Mentor Me Program (KAMMP) Online implemented by ATI Region 6 in partnership with Go Negosyo.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kapatid Agri Mentor Me Program (KAMMP) was implemented online using Zoom Technology. Online sessions are held every Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM from September 8 to October 28, 2020, with nine sessions and topics on Entrepreneurial Mind Setting and Values Formation, Business Model Canvass, Marketing (Digitalization of Agri Marketplace, Farm Operations Management, Business Ethics, and Good Business Practices and Business Plan Development.
KAMMP aims to nurture and sustain agri-business in the country through Mentorship. Industry practitioners serve as mentors that provide guidance and assistance to the Mentees by sharing learnings from their experiences.
The online graduation for the program is scheduled for December 14, 2020, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM still via Zoom Technology.
