BANGA, Aklan – Another busy month is an understatement for Dr. Baustista. She started the month with a combination of work and leisure during the FY 2019 Midyear Review & Learning Journey at Oriental Mindoro last July 1-5, 2019 together with the rest of the ATI Region 6's staff. During the first day of the activity, she led the Midyear Assessment in the presentation of Physical and Financial Performance of the Center. While on the second day, she met Center Director Pat Andrew B. Barrientos and ATI-MiMaRoPa staff, and toured around the Demonstration Farm of the said Center located at Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro. Then on the third day, she visited the Agrigold Farm owned by Neri S. Funtalla, one of ATI-Mimaropa’s learning sites located at Pinagsabanga II, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro. On the same day, she visited the Gabutero Organic Farm, owned by Mr. Nelson B. Gabutero, the only accredited organic farm, a DOT- Accredited Agri-Farm Tourism Site and an Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) accredited learning site located at Sitio Tubigan, Brgy. Labonan, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro. The following day, she visited the El Prado Verde Farms Inc., owned by Dr. Augelito Goco, situated in Sapul, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro and an accredited subfarm of DV Boer Farm International Corporation. During the last day of the Learning Journey, she gave a message during the Closing Program at Apartelle de Francesca, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
She then attended the Scholarship Program Mid-Year Assessment and Planning Workshop at Hoyohoy Highland Resort, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental last July 8-12, 2019.
She reported back to the Center to lead the 2nd Readiness Assessment 2019 for ISO 9001:2015 last July 15 and 16, 2019. The assessment was facilitated by Engr. Paul Mondoñedo and assisted by Mr. Marco Venise Ronquillo, ISO Secretariat.
Two days after, she attended the implementation of RDE Network in Western Visayas at DA-BAR Harbor Town Hotel, Iloilo City.
She then flew to ATI-Regional Training Center V, Pili, Camarines Sur to attend the 2nd Quarter ATI Managers/ ATIMA members meeting and the ATI’s FY 2019 Midyear Performance Review and Planning Workshop last July 23- 26, 2019.
Lastly, she delivered a warm welcome message during the opening program of the Training on Capacity Enhancement and Skills for RIC Members and Officers at ATI Region 6’s Training Hall and an inspiring and challenging message during its closing program.
